At the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Wellbeing NHS Talking Therapy Service, we offer Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) high quality supervision and opportunities for continual professional development.  PWP’s are supported to become proficient in psychological assessment, delivering a range of low-intensity psychological treatments for anxiety disorders and depression – psychoeducation, behavioural activation, medication management, problem solving and guided self-help.

We are not an emergency service but if you are struggling to cope with everyday life and need immediate help or know someone who is they should refer to their GP or out of hours GP service.

If you are about to seriously harm yourself or have harmed yourself.

Once you self-refer Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) will create a patient record which will be stored on the secure MPFT database.
